This week was like a roller coaster ride for me. Starting of the week I was very ill, leaving my workplace early to rest at home on Monday and losing control over the kids on Tuesday. Then, on Wednesday, I had a good rest. That day the centre celebrated Monster’s birthday and we had a long treasure hunt game. Laughter was filled in the air and I was feeling much better. Thursday was a ‘mess’! It’s April’s Fools Day and the centre celebrated my birthday. -.- The kids thought I was born on that day. No way! I got cream on my face and hair thanks to my colleagues. I hid in the cubicle and one of them still splash water on me. The other one offered to help me to wash my hair but she wasn’t good at it at all. Urgg. Thank God I brought life concert shirt.
I went to SA by 966 with my creamy hair and hungry stomach. Jie brought things for me to bath but I didn’t because I thought the concert would start on time. In the end I had 45mintues to bath and I didn’t. -.- Life concert was great! It ended with people asking for encore and the band was spontaneous enough to let us choose songs. Haha. Thank God I was somehow recovered before life concert itself so that I could sing out loud.
Haha.
Good Friday service was really long; it lasted for 3 hours. I had to admit I did not really pay attention but at least I prayed and asked Jesus to travel back time with me to the time He was down on Earth. Hehs. After service, the cell went for a lunch. Following which, 4 of us went to Vivo City and had a awesome chat. Ben’s & Jerry’s! Ok. I reached home by 5, ordered my dad to prepare the dinner I desired then go to West Mall and meet Sok at Swesen’s. Thanks to Sok we had free banana spilt. I was enjoying my time with her until something happened. It was so embarrassing. I was reading a message and trying to figure out the meaning of a word as I was walking towards a glass door apparently. Sok pulled me. Nonetheless, I still knock into that glass door. (my hands first though because my instinct asked me to do that) Haha and the waitress asked if I was okay. I simply laughed and left.
News began to spread about people receiving universities letter of acceptance. It was a little depressing then I prayed against it.
I M POSSIBLE was an activity to let the church had a feel how it feels like to go for a mission. The committee planned it extremely well! They had COR air ticket, passport, VISA, Changi Airport Posters, signs that said ‘Gate C25’, ladies in air stewardess clothes, masks, life jackets blah blah. They looked so professional! Wow. It was a learning experience. Even though we may treat it just as a game, at the minimum we really learnt the importance of taking care of our own things, example, our passports. >.-
This morning I woke up at 6 to go for Easter service. The sermon was really interesting. I agree with him about Jerusalem first, then Mickey Mouse. (He was saying we should go there and strengthen our faith before enjoying ourselves.) The cell had lunch then they prayed for me before I left to join Rhon, Dona, Rach and Su. We had Sushi but too early for the buffet. Rhonda made a cake for me! Haha! Awesome! I praised her and put away my usual criticizing attitude for her. Haha. Cool.
